The Salt Wash Company is a New Zealand owned and operated business founded by Brendon and Charlotte in 2023. Brendon's passion for the outdoors and frustration with harsh cleaning products led him to ask a simple question: why can't high-performance gear maintenance also be kind to the planet and actually perform to a high standard? 

That question became a mission. Working alongside a trusted team of New Zealand-based partner chemists, Brendon developed a range of formulations that are genuinely superior in performance and better for the environment, backed by scientifically tested results.

That's the idea at the heart of The Salt Wash Company. A New Zealand owned and operated brand born from a love of the outdoors and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Whether you're maintaining a boat between seasons, rinsing salt off a surfboard after a dawn session, cleaning down a mountain bike after a muddy trail, our products are built to work hard without leaving a mark on the environment you love.
